LIFTING WATER AND INTERNAL FORCE
Internal force is very important in Taijiquan. Without internal force, Taijiquan will be inadequate as a martial art. It is even inadequate as a health exercise. Without internal force, practitioners would probably get more health and fitness benefits doing physical exercise like swimming and playing games. But internal force transforms Taijiquan into a wonderful martial art that also gives excellent benefits of health, vitality and longevity. One important Taijiquan exercise to develop internal force is "Lifting Water".
