INTERCEPTING A HOOK WITH DOUBLE BOWS
The video series here shows course participants practicing the White Monkey technique on the opponent's left side. When executed skillfully, a dainty lady can throw a hefty man. An effective counter against the hook is also shown. It is intercepting the hook with double bows. The hook, or an arm-swinging attack, is frequently used by untrained persons in street-fights. If the swing of the hook is small, you may take the attack as a cross or jab.
