DEVELOPING THE SKILLS OF COUNTER-STRIKING AND OF JUDGMENT
In this training, if an attacker was too far away or too close, you covered him and struck him. If he had right spacing, you remained still and observed his movement, enabling you to develop the skill of good judgment. Good spacing applies not just to attacks. When you defend, you should also not be too far or too close.
