TRAINING OF JING, QI AND SHEN
Shaolin Kungfu is a training of "jing", "qi" and "shen", which are form, energy and mind. Being able to tell the difference between feign moves and real attacks, as well as to respond correctly and spontaneously are more the result of mind training than of form.
Some examples of failing to differentiate between false and real, and of being caught off guard when attacked, are provided. These problems are then overcome. Besides the presence of mind and energy, good form of course is also necessary.
