Dear Sifu:

I would like to say thank you for accepting me to the Intensive Shaolin Kungfu Course and for inviting me to the wedding banquet. I am extremely honored that you accept me as your student.

I still couldn't believe how much one could learn by attending your five day intensive course: 16 combat sequences, stance training, One Finger Shooting Zen, various hand and kicking attacks in Shaolin Kungfu and entering into a chi kung state of mind.

Your teaching method made all these very simple yet profound. You know how and when to give new information to your students in an easy to understand manner.

To be honest, I was extremely worried on the 2nd and 3rd day when I have to train for 8 hours. I thought I would pass out from the exhaustion since the most I have trained is about 1 hour a day. To my surprise, I was fresh and mentally alert throughout the entire session, even till late at night! I couldn't believe it! I was drench in sweat when I did the combat sequences and the sets, yet I didn't feel thirsty and tried! This is simply amazing!

However, the highlight of the course was not the Kungfu that I learned. It was the time when you told me to open my chest and showed me a simple exercise that I have to do everyday before my chi kung training. I have been doing the exercise on a regular basis and now during my stance training, I could actually wear a smile on my face! Something that I couldn't do before. I promise, the next time I see Sifu next year, I will be happier.

As a closing remark, I would like to thank you once again for teaching us this genuine art. I will see Sifu next year when we have our first honorary chi kung course!

Sincerely,
Franciskus
